World Glaucoma Week in Ukraine: Key Updates

According to the World Glaucoma Association (WGA), there are approximately 78 million patients with glaucoma worldwide. It is projected that this figure could rise to 112 million by 2040. Raising public awareness about the risks of the disease—particularly by improving diagnostics to identify individuals with elevated intraocular pressure (IOP)—and enhancing the quality of medical care are key factors in improving treatment outcomes and reducing disability.
