Welcome address
Dear colleagues,
According to the WHO, global human health has deteriorated significantly in recent years due to the widespread rise of non-communicable chronic diseases, with systemic vascular pathology taking the leading position.
International research and clinical experience show that glaucoma accompanies this pathology in the visual organ, leading to a dramatic increase in vision-related disability.
The Ukrainian Glaucoma Society has been admitted to EGS and WGA — this gives us full access to the long-standing experience of European and global professional communities.
I appeal to everyone who cares about this problem and invite you to join us, because only through joint effort can we fulfil the hope of glaucoma patients for a better quality of life.
